It was disappointing to see so few classmates committed to coming to the 50th as the two prior events were a nice crowd; worse were the numerous names that apparently are not to be found. Several names on the 'maybe' list as well as the 'not coming' have been disheartening as well. Numerous names are missing, which I find odd as many are not missing--others piqued my interest as well since I would love to know their status or at least, whereabouts. I returned to the desert in 1964, having moved from The Outpost (several of you know this desert outpost!) in 1956, for my final two years, thus proudly starting school life, leaving, then returning and finishing in The Desert.
However, nothing compares to the feelings of being sucker-punched when viewing the In Memory list and realizing that this list likely has several of the names I've been seeking since viewing the Chia via finally opting to pay for the privilege to view it and other things on Classmates website. I plan on the golf and the long tradition of Las Cas. I remain uncommitted for the dinner....
